Linux is an operating system for pc which changes windows to linux but the installer has an option to have linux alongside windows which means that you get to keep the pc apps which you had on your windows. The Linux computer was the first computer than came windows than mac. There is ubuntu installer which you can burn on the disc or install with USB or you can use wubi installer the USB is the hardest to install.
